Grantmakers for Cultural Heritage Preservation (G-CHeP) is an informal network of funding organisations with a global remit to support projects which protect cultural heritage. Established in New York in 2017, our network fosters information sharing, collaboration, and for impactful grantmaking in cultural preservation.

Objectives:

• Prevent duplication of efforts and projects

• Coordinate emergency heritage protection initiatives

• Address operational challenges and explore grantmaking opportunities

• Evaluate and understand the impact of cultural heritage grantmaking

• Gather data to comprehend funding trends, needs, and demands in cultural preservation.
